New New Holland T7 SWB
Tuesday, October 28, 2025New Holland has been gradually updating the T7 series since 2021, and now the final piece of the puzzle has arrived: the T7 SWB. These are the smallest in the series, with 180 to 225 horsepower. The tractor is new from top to bottom: cab, front axle, transmission, and so on. New Holland is even introducing a new blue colour and a new look.
The new version of the T7 SWB – the “Standard wheelbase” – has been a long time coming. But when you see everything New Holland has done to the tractor, you understand why. The manufacturer didn't simply put the updated Horizon Ultra cab from the larger T7s on the old T7 and call it a day. No, New Holland developed a new, smaller cab and a narrower armrest. At the same time, the entire tractor has been modified: new transmission, new front axle (suspension), and many details have been revised. In this segment of 180 to 225 hp engine power, New Holland is once again competing in the top class. Initially, this will only be with the continuously variable Auto Command. At a later date, the Dynamic Command powershift transmission with double clutch will also be available for some models.
Key features
- New Holland's new colour is slightly darker, a richer blue. New Holland calls this Dynamic Blue. The old blue colour will eventually disappear. The Maserati blue Blue Power colour remains an option.
- A nice detail: the new LED rear lights are shaped like the New Holland logo. You can also use the mudguard controls to adjust the revs or switch off the engine.
- You can choose between mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic cab suspension. The lifting mechanism can be switched between category || and ||| spread using pin-hole adjustments.
- The new Horizon cab is slightly smaller than the Horizon Ultra cab on the larger T7s. It is a pleasant workplace with attractive finishes. Note the new control panel at the top right of the roof, where you can adjust the lighting and operate the radio and climate control.
- The armrest has been made slightly narrower so that the seat can still swivel despite the smaller cab. Note also the optional refrigerator at the front right of the cab.
- The new front axle is suspended from the transmission housing and directly to the axle with two thick spring cylinders. The new front axle has good suspension and allows for greater steering angle.
- A larger toolbox on a slide, a clean water tank for washing your hands and easy access to the battery terminals – a handy storage compartment on the right-hand side. This also features sturdy steps for window cleaning.
- New Holland still uses the 6.7-litre FPT engine. However, it now has different software, which ensures that the engine power is available at a lower engine speed (1,500 rpm).
