LANDCROS Operator Challenge 2026 brings together Belgian machine operators
Tuesday, June 23, 2026Last Thursday and Friday were all about the LANDCROS Operator Challenge 2026. During this unique event, machine operators from across Belgium had the chance to showcase their skills in a series of challenging trials that focused on precision, technique, speed and control. Over two intense days, the participants competed against one another in various tasks that demanded the very best of their machine handling skills. The challenges were not only a test of technical ability, but also of concentration and perseverance.
We would therefore like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their enthusiasm, dedication and professional approach. Thanks to their commitment and passion for the trade, this edition was a great success!
Guy Jacobs from Jacobs Grondwerken stood out from the field and can now call himself Belgium’s best machine operator. With this impressive performance, he has also secured a place in the international final of the LANDCROS Operator Challenge, which will take place in Amsterdam in September. There, he will represent Belgium against the best machine operators from other countries.
