HIAB Belgium relies on a network of local partners

Tuesday, September 2, 2025

From 10 to 14 September, the 41st edition of the Matexpo trade fair will take place in Kortrijk. HIAB Belgium will be present at the stands of various partners on this occasion. The supplier of intelligent and sustainable loading and unloading solutions is thus strengthening its presence, which has now been extended to all provinces of the country.

For the 2025 edition of Matexpo, HIAB Belgium wanted to put its partners in the spotlight. This was a conscious choice that reflects HIAB's conviction: investing in a network of reliable partners to guarantee optimal local service to customers.

"For more than 20 years, we have been building strong relationships with local players who share our values and have proven their know-how. Not only do they have the technical expertise, but they also know the market and our customers' expectations inside out. For HIAB, these partnerships serve a very specific purpose: to deliver our customers' equipment as quickly and efficiently as possible so that their tools are immediately operational, with the assurance of excellent follow-up for maintenance and service," says Daniel Clef, Country Manager HIAB Belgium.

Customisation

One of the strengths of HIAB solutions is the unique design of the equipment, which requires perfect mastery of both electronics and hydraulics, whether it concerns cranes or lifting equipment. Partners are therefore carefully selected based on their ability to match this expertise.

‘The strength of our partner network, which now covers all provinces of Belgium, is based on a combination of local anchoring and technical excellence. Our partners build the trucks themselves according to customer specifications. This approach delivers tangible results and contributes to healthy relationships with users,’ adds Daniel Clef.

Battery-powered crane

One of the innovations presented by HIAB Belgium this year is a crane equipped with an electric battery mounted directly on the vehicle. Thanks to its quiet and environmentally friendly operation, this crane opens the door to new applications: night work, interventions in city centres or indoors, etc. What's more, this process, patented by HIAB Belgium, can be coupled to a truck with a combustion engine. The system retains all its power and can even be converted into a hybrid solution.

During Matexpo, HIAB Belgium's solutions can be discovered at the Luyckx stand. Visitors will have the opportunity to test the Hiskill virtual control system.
