Under the motto "Solutions that work", the Japanese manufacturer will showcase its conventional compact machines, which have been successfully established on the market for years, as well as a pure range of new, alternatively powered construction machines under the motto "Smart Energy Solutions" at Bauma 2022.

Kubota has expanded its extensive range of articulated wheel loaders with the introduction of two new electric loaders, the RT210-2e and RT220-2e.

The RT210-2e and RT220-2e are Kubota’s first electric articulated wheel loaders. The corresponding diesel-powered models served as the basis for the development. The conventional engine was replaced by an electric system consisting of two electric motors (one electric motor for the travel drive and one electric motor for the working movements) and a common battery storage.

The RT210-2e is equipped as standard in the standard configuration with a long loader boom for a long reach (pivot height bucket pin 2.82m) and a lifting capacity of 1450kg. The RT220e has a much shorter loader swing arm (bucket pin pivot height 2.45m) with a lifting capacity of 2054kg for heavy-duty loading work. In addition, with an overall width of only 1.08m and a machine height of 2.30m, the machines can be used on narrow and compact construction sites.

The electric all-wheel drive has a differential lock (“limited slip”) in the front and rear axles of the machines. The driving speed can be selected in three different driving levels (0-5 km/h / 0-12 km/h / 0-18 km/h).

Both machines are perfect for construction sites that require low noise levels and no CO2 emissions.

Kubota will be at Booth FN.1019/1 at Bauma. The fair will run from 24-30 October.
